Ich hab dort letztes Jahr teilgenommen, und es war sehr interessant. Empfohlen fuer Doktoranden und Masterstudenten.
Reisekosten sind nicht sehr teuer, Unterkunft ist guenstig, Stimmung ist gut.
Es gibt sogar ECTS CP's, deshalb fuer Masterstudenten womoeglich besonders interessant - auch in Hinblick auf die neue UbiComp Professur.

Die anleitenden/betreuenden Profs sind in der Regel (und auch diesmal) alle mit wichtigen Beitraegen zu dem Themengebiet, und allein was das Networking angeht ist sowas eine Chance wie kaum eine Andere.

Und, es ist auch keine langweilige Summer School, wo vortragende sich abwechseln und einem was erzaehlen, sondern es wird intensiv in Workshops eine innovative Loesung erarbeitet. Wenn man sich richtig reinhaengt kann am Ende sogar ein Poster oder Workshoppaper dabei rauskommen.

The 4th International UBI Summer School 2013 will be held in Oulu, Finland, on June 10 - 15, 2013. The summer school provides young researchers with an opportunity to gain hands on experience and insight on selected topics on the multidisciplinary fields of ubiquitous computing and urban informatics under the tutelage of distinguished experts. The summer school is targeted primarily to doctoral (graduate) students, but undergraduate students and postdocs are also welcome to attend. The summer school builds on the legacy of the previous highly successful summer schools held in Oulu in 2010-2012.

The summer school comprises of four parallel workshops:
