[UbiCampus] was für einen Laptop braucht man denn?

Ich hatte eigentlich nicht vor, mir einen neuen Laptop zu kaufen, da mein Vater einen hat, den er mir zur Verfügung stellen würde. Ich glaube, dass es sich um einen ~400mhz 64 MB ram Gerät handelt. Das müsste doch für diese Multimediavorlesungen die offenbar geplant sind genügen, wenn ich mir noch eine Wlan Karte dazu kaufe?

Die "Multimedia" Vorlesung EBS hab ich mit meinem Powerbook auch ohne Probleme besuchen können. Man braucht nur Java für die komische Site, Office für seine Dokumente und nen ssh Client für die Übungen. Habe keinen Punkt gefunden warum es Win XP und Office XP sein muß.

jo man brauch Office als Leiche auf dem PC, war zumindest bei mir so. Bei uns konnte man alles bequem als PDF anschaun :)
Es gibt nur eine bessere Sache als auf dem Wasser zu sein: Noch mehr auf dem Wasser sein.

office ist offenbar nicht mehr nötig meinten die bei der Einführung, da man offenbar auch star office oder sowas als Option wählen kann.

Darum sind es bei uns ja auch 600Euro statt 750Euro Zuschuss ... weil der Office-Zwang für 150Euro rausfällt ;)

Reicht OpenOffice und kann man damit auch Word-, Exel- und PP-Dokumente öffnen und editieren?
