Analysis Plotprogramme

hallo.
Für die Hausübung in Analysis ist für eine Aufgabe Plotprogramme erlaubt.
Könnt ihr mir sagen, welche Plotprogramme empfehlenswert sind und irgendwo frei erhältlich z.B. vielleicht in der Uni zum brennen auf mich wartet,
danke im vorraus

Gnuplot.

Für Funktionen in nur einer Veränderlichen lassen sich auch mit Metapost schöne Ergebnisse erzielen (Beispiele dazu findest Du im Netz).

weiss jemand, wie man bei maple ne funktion zeichnet, die in koordinatenform z.b. f-->(x, x^2, x^3) gegeben ist?

implicitplot bzw. implicitplot3d. Die Ergebnisse sind aber nicht wirklich schön. Ich würde in solchen Fällen lieber mehrere Plots expliziter Funktionen in ein Bild machen.

Es gab mal in der Misburg Meyers Garten Bücherei ein Programm namens "WinFunktion". War aber schon 2 Jahre her. Damit kann man 2D und 3D Plots und noch mehr machen. Bitte bescheid sagen, falls gefunden wurde. thx

GNU Plot

GNU Plot ist ein freeware Plotprogramm. Damit lassen sich polar-parameter oder kartesische Koordinaten eingeben. Es verbraucht wenig Speicher (sowohl Festplatte als auch Arbeitsspeicher). Nur die Bedienung ist ein wenig kompliziert (Zeilenorientiert). Die hilfreichsten Befehle stehen in der Hilfe auf

zum Nachschlagen bereit. Das Programm gab es mal in der C't Ausgabe.
