ich und ein einzelner buchstabe? also bei mir warens bisher alles mehrere... oder, falls du den einzeln stehenden in der längeren sequenz meinst: das macht schon sinn so, für den anfang kannste ja leerzeichen etc ignorieren (tip: die werden da eh nicht mitverschlüsselt)

zu jet-li's bitstream: bah. hätt ich auch gleich drauf kommen können. kommt davon wenn man zu sehr an 8er-paare gewöhnt ist... naja, machnmal hat man halt ne ganze bretterbude vorm kopf.

ist das schon wieder n neuer algo, oder stimmt evtl was mit deinem encoder nicht? ketten mit teilweise ungerader, nicht durch 5 teilbarer anzahl, häh? nichtmal "001110001110001" krieg ich zurückgerechnet :/
