Hi! Ich wollt mal neben Linux auch Vista installieren, brauch das für ein paar Sachen, das Problem ist nur, dass bei der Installation Vista auf Partition 1 Linux erkennt und das blöde Ding Vista unbedingt auf Partition 1 installieren will, Partition 2 reicht ihm wohl nicht
Kennt ihr das Problem?

jo, dann musst wohl deinen partitionsbaum umbauen..
Mit Vista kenn ich mich nun zwar nicht aus, aber mit den vorherigen windows versionen hat er auch auf andere partitionen installiert. Allerdings den boot sektor immer auf der ersten platte gehabt. Vielleicht reicht es den Partitionstyp zu aendern und den boot sector zu loeschen, windows installieren und den bootsector dann mit grub neu schreiben?
Vista braucht (zumindest für den Bootloader) eine primäre Partition. also einfach hinter linux eine weitere, primäre partition (keine erweiterte/logische) anlegen und darauf Vista installieren. Siehe auch http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Partition_(Festplatte)

Ich hab ja Ubuntu schon drauf und warum jetzt unbedingt Xubuntu? Ich find Ubuntu viel toller
Und die nächste Frage, was hat das mit der Fehlermeldung zu tun?
