Hallo,

an der Tür vom MMH hängt ein Blatt mit dem Hinweis, dass die Vorlesung um 11:30 (also Technologien für das Internet I) wegen Krankheit des Dozenten heute ausfällt.

Ist es immer noch so, dass Herr Nejdl ständig seine Vorlesungen ausfallen lässt? Letztes Jahr ist rund die Hälfte aller Vorlesungen ausgefallen. (Ein paar davon wurden von Herrn Kohlschütter vertreten, aber dafür fiel dann auch entsprechend häufig die Übung aus.)

Never, ever reuse a paper abstract for a presentation, except if the abstract is “We show P = NP” or “We show P != NP”. If your abstract is one of the above two, double-check whether your proof is correct.

Letzte Woche hat Herr Nejdl angekündigt, dass heute mal wieder Herr Kohlschütter die Vorlesung übernehmen würde. Allerdings war dieser schon vor einer Woche krank, weshalb da die Übung ausgefallen ist.

Ansonsten war es heute (soweite ich mich erinnere) das erste Mal, dass die Vorlesung nicht stattgefunden hat.

Herr Kohlschütter meinte heute übrigens, dass der Vorlesungsstoff vom 20.12.2007 vermutlich nicht nachgeholt wird. Heute ging es mit Web search basics I weiter.
