Hi,

ich habe ein Problem beim TeXen. Und zwar geht das ganze Dokument erstmal so los:

\documentstyle[12pt]{report}

Wenn ich dann z.B. mit \chapter oder \tableofcontents ein Kapitel oder Inhaltverzeichnis erstelle, so schreibt er "Chapter" und "Contents". Wie kriege ich das denn auf deutsch hin (also "Kapitel" und "Inhaltsverzeichnis")?

Wenn ich "\usepackage[ngerman]{babel}" versuche, dann sagt er mir er braucht "\documentclass", dass will ich aber nicht ändern. (Mache das für 'nen Prof und der will das so, kann nichts dafür!).

Kennt jemand Abhilfe?

Danke, dass mit german als Option nach 12pt hat geklappt. Jetzt habe ich noch eine Frage. Und zwar soll wieder \documentstyle bleiben (anstelle von \documentclass) und ich brauche zusätzliche Mathe-Symbole (z.B. \vdash), die im Paket amssymb drin sind. Jetzt kann ich aber wieder nicht \usepackage{amssymb} benutzen! Wie komme ich trotzdem an die Symbole ran?

Jemand eine Ahnung oder Idee?

Auch als Option beigeben? Hier sind Informationen, um ein LaTeX 2.09 in ein LaTeX 2e Dokument zu verwandeln. Scheinbar steht alles, was inzwischen mit usepackage eingebunden wird, bei LaTeX 2.09 als Option in eckigen Klammern.

Oha. Dann solltest Du dich mal erst mit dem Prof. statt bösen LaTeX-Hacks auseinandersetzen!?

Nicht immer is gut, was sich so mancher Prof./Boss vorstellt. Oder würdest Du dem auch bunt blinkende HTML-Seiten basteln.

Also wenn Du deutsch TeXen willst/sollst, solltest Du wohl auch komascript (Guide|CTAN|foo) für den Satz nutzen.

So wird alles gut (Latin-1-codierte tex-Dateien).

Aber zurück zum sturen Prof.: Neuerungen in Latex2e und etwas zur (german-)Optionsangabe.

Damit hast du vollkommen Recht, aber ich bin in diesem Fall nicht der ausschlaggebende Punkt. Habe es jetzt aber auch hinbekommen. Geht ja alles! Danke!

Eine Sache habe ich aber noch: BibTeX. Wie kriege ich ein URL da rein?
