Firefox Download Day 2008

An alle die es noch nicht kennen: Dienstag ist Download Day. Da gehts darum, die meisten Software-Downloads in 24 Stunden zu schaffen.

Bin mal gespannt, was nachher bei rauskommt. Ich meine, was hindert einen daran, die Datei mehrfach runter zu laden. Und zwar automatisiert. Und zwar sehr oft.
Wie Glaubwürdig ist dann der Rekord?

Nochwas: "Deutschland ist bislang nicht so gut dabei" Naja, wie viel Aussagekraft haben denn absolute Zahlenwerte? ^^

Waere mal interessant zu wissen wie sie mit doppelten Downloads umgehen. Da es aber "download rekord" genannt wird und nicht "meisten nutzer an einem tag" gehts nur darum wie viel traffic man produziert.... ;)

Es gibt den Effekt halt aber auch andersrum, einige laden ihn einmal runter und installieren ihn auf vielen rechnern...

schliesse mich da benjamin an...
also, wer bekommt die server zu erst down :)

hm, aber dann müsste man ja auch erst einen "original" firefox runterladen, bevor man das plugin benutzen kann... (oder aus dem sourcecode selber backen) ^^

btw, warum kann man den immer noch nicht downloaden?
starten die das etwa erst heute abend, sodass man dann mehr oder weniger die potentiellen downloader von 2 tagen zusammen in die 24-stunden-zeitspanne mit reinkriegt!? 8| :rolleyes:

Schande über dich... Ich habs gezogen, sieht im Vergleich zum Opera einfach nur scheiße aus, deinstalliert, gelöscht, meinen Beitrag geleistet. Der vor und zurueck Button sieht aus wie hingekotzt. Allerdings muss ich sagen, dass dwer neue Opera scheinbar einige Fehler ht und speziell in Foren einige Dinge äußerst seltsam anzeigt.

Hm, ich wollte ja gar nicht mitmachen, aber ausgerechnet heute hängte sich mein Firefox bei der Arbeit unwiederbringlich auf. Ob das Zufall war?
Hab aber die alte Version gezogen, ich lass mich doch nicht zwingen. :)
