DrRacket auf Linux :O

Tach Mädels!
Mal ne Frage... für Scheme sollen wir uns ja mit DrRacket vertaut machen. Wollte es auf Linux installieren. Doch da ich ein völliger Horst was Linux betrifft bin (habe es seid zwei Wochen oder so...), wollt ich mal fragen wie das geht. Google spuckt auch keine wirklichen Hilfen raus (vlĺt such ich auch nach was falschem Oo) Die entsprechende Datei hat die Endung .sh ...

Hmmmm anscheind hab ich es nun installiert bekommen........ aber ich weiß jetzt nur nicht, wie ich das Programm starten kann Oo
sobald ich wie vom prof geschrieben "drracket" eingebe kommt:

Welche Distribution verwendest du denn? Vielleicht steht das Paket ja über den eigenen Paketmanager zur Verfügung.

Ubuntu müsste noch die vorherige Version im repository haben. Da heisst die IDE "drscheme" und das Paket plt-scheme.

Was sagt denn (um das Problem mal ein wenig einzugrenzen):

$ ls -l /usr/local/plt/bin/gracket
$ file /usr/local/plt/bin/gracket
$ uname -a

Ja, DrScheme ist in den Repositories, aber bitte DrRacket benutzen. Da es eventuelle Änderungen geben könnte, auf die wir nicht eingehen.

Ich habe hier ebenfalls Ubuntu und bei mir gab es keine Probleme (gut, hilft Dir jetzt nicht viel). Gab es bei der Installation sonst keine Fehlermeldung bzw. irgendeine andere Meldung?

ne kein bisschen

an sich wollt ich ja ne richtige anwendung "racket" haben... so wie man sich das bei win vorstellt, ohne groß mit dem terminal zu handieren :D
der parchmann hats auch gehabt :D (wobei ich glaube, dass der nen mac hat?)

Hast Du doch, einfach in Gnome entweder einen Link anlegen auf dem Desktop oder wo auch immer oder einfach mit ALT-F2 drracket eingeben und dann brauchst Du auch kein Terminal mehr.
